Ramadeeksha concludes, devotees take part in huge procession

Bhadrachalam: The closing ceremony of Ramadeeksha was conducted on a grand note here at Lord Rama temple on Friday. As part of the programme, the temple conducted a Giri Pradhakshana with the devotees in the early hours of the day. Temple Executive Officer T Ramesh Babu participated in the programme.

Later, special pujas were performed by the priests at Chitrakuta Mandapam where a large number of devotees attended. After that the devotees ended their Deeskha on the temple premises. In the evening hours, Radha Seva programme was conducted for the devotees who took the Ramadeeksha.

Speaking on the occasion, the EO said the temple conducts many traditional programmes every year and one of which is Ramadeeksha which starts on the Srirama Navami Day. He said the Deeksha is observed for 27 days. He informed the celestial wedding and Pattabhishekam would be conducted on Saturday for the devotees of Ramadeeksha on the temple premises.
