Road extension works kick off

Tandur: At last, road extension works in the town began here on Wednesday. Officials commenced them with pulling down the compound wall of the municipality building. Then they tried to demolish business establishments on the road from Indira Chowk to Railway Station.

But the owners of the constructions strongly objected and obstructed the officials. The issue was taken to the notice of local MLA Rohith Reddy. After discussing with both parties, the MLA appealed to the people for cooperation for development. He also ordered officials to go ahead without considering political pressures.
