Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) General Manager K Basavaiah appreciated R Jaya Nandini, who won second prize in the Young Kala Tarang programme, organised by the company for the youngsters living near company premises, here in his chambers in Kothagudem on Thursday.

After the selection of candidates, the main event was held at Godavarikhani RCOA Club on July 16, where in Jaya Nandini, pursuing graduation in Kothagudem, took part in the singing competition and bagged the second prize.
Speaking on the occasion, the GM explained the services of the company and stated that the company was providing several opportunities to youngsters and women. As part of it, the company had conducted cultural programmes and imparted and vocational training to women, he added. Deputy General Manager D Solman, officer Dhan Paul, Srinivas, Bethi Raju and others attended the programme.
