Six notorious house burglars nabbed in Hyderabad
Meerpet police on Wednesday nabbed six notorious house burglars and recovered 120 gram gold ornaments, 4 kg silver articles, few electronic goods and Rs 40,000, all worth Rs 9 lakh.
Hyderabad: Meerpet police on Wednesday nabbed six notorious house burglars and recovered 120 gram gold ornaments, 4 kg silver articles, few electronic goods and Rs 40,000, all worth Rs 9 lakh.
The accused persons were been identified as I Suresh (23), J Santhosh Naik (26), K Ramesh (29), N Sachin (22), P Arun Kumar (28) and Santhoji Srinu (30). According to police, the accused committed 17 house burglaries in different police station limits of Rachakonda and Hyderabad Police Commissionerates' jurisdiction.
Police said that the accused persons used to conduct a recce in the colonies in late hours and select the locked houses. As per their plan, two of them used to observe the public movements while others would force their way into the houses by breaking open the locks and commit theft of gold, silver ornaments and cash and decamp with the stolen items.
