After the runaway success of the ruling TRS, several candidates are visiting MLAs’ offices and mandal-level leaders to confirm their candidature for the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections.

Adilabad: After the runaway success of the ruling TRS, several candidates are visiting MLAs' offices and mandal-level leaders to confirm their candidature for the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections.

MLAs Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad), Rathod Bapurao (Boath) and Asifabad and Khanapur MLAs are busy verifying the right candidates from hundreds of aspiring leaders from all mandals in Adilabad and Boath constituencies; Gadiguda and Narnoor in Asifabad constituency; and Utnoor and Indervelli mandals in Khanapur constituency.

Jainath, Bela, Adilabad Rural and Mavala mandals comes under Adilabad Assembly constituency; while Bheempur, Tamsi, Talamadugu, Gudihathnoor, Bajarhathnoor, Echoda, Boath, Neradigonda and Sirikonda mandals comes under Boath constituency. ZPTC candidates will be selected from these madals.

While MPTC candidates have to finalised according to the reservations.

MLA J Ramanna, who was given the responsibility of selecting candidates for Adilbad district, is consulting ticket aspirants and focusing on seat sharing. In the next two days, list of selected candidates is likely to be rolled out.

The MLAs, who have consulted the existing mandal-level leaders, informed that they will give ticket to the winning horses only. The ruling party do not want to take risk even though the party cadre is already strong enough, as it is not interested in leaving any option to the Opposition.
