A doctor by profession, Rama Rao resigned as a public servant and joined in BJP three months ago. Hailing from BC community, Rama Rao has been chosen for his socially outgoing nature.
Meanwhile, CPM also announced its candidate for Huzurnagar bypoll. The party decided to field Arepalli Sekhar Rao in the bypoll.
