Telangana: A blast in open cast mine-1 at Ramagiri Mandal in Peddapalli resulted in the death of 4 workers. Six other workers also suffered injuries in the blast occurred today morning in Phase-2 of the Surface Mine-1.
The mishap occurred during the OB blasting four of contract workers died on the spot. Three bodies have been taken out so far and are identified as Rakesh, Praveen from Godavarikani and Rajesh from Kamanpur. The bodies were shifted to Singareni hospital in Godavarikani for post mortem.
The other two were reported to be seriously injured. The bodies were shifted to Godavarikani Government Area Hospital for post mortem.
