Veera Bhadraiah (42) who participated in the strike has neglected his health and was hospitalised on Thursday with no proper being taken since the strike. He died while undergoing treatment. Enraged over his death, the RTC workers staged a protest in front of the Parigi bus depot with the Bhadraiah's body on Bijapur-Hyderabad national highway.

While protesting, another driver identified as Srinivas collapsed and was shifted to a nearby hospital. However, he was later shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad after his condition deteriorated.

However, the Telangana government on Thursday announced that a final decision over the RTC strike will be taken after the High Court verdict and other related issues. The decision was taken after a high-level discussion held at Pragati Bhavan.
