Unable to return home due to lockdown, woman jumps off building in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide by jumping off the 15th floor of a building here at Lanco Hills of Manikonda in Rayadurgam on Wednesday morning.

The woman, identified as Mallika came to Hyderabad Three months ago and was working in a private firm. She is a native of Nandigama in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the police, Mallika called up her parents and said that she wanted to return home as her sister delivered a baby recently. However, her parents told her to wait until he lockdown is lifted.
Depressed over not getting a chance to go home to see the new born baby, the 20-year-old woman jumped from the building. It is learned that the woman had gone to office in the morning and jumped off her office building. The police were informed who reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
Mallika's family members were also informed about the incident. Arrangements are underway to shifted the body to Nandigama. An investigation is underway.
