Karimnagar: Union Bank of India (UBI) is in first place in financing for agriculture and small and medium sectors, and also in issuing MUDRA loans without any collateral security, stated Deputy General Manager SK Bhargav, while speaking at a loan mela for MSME sector at Ambedkar Road branch here on Monday.
UBI has advanced Rs 7,041 crores to priority and other sectors and mobilized deposits of Rs 5,576 crores through 88 branches in the State, he informed. Bhargav appealed borrowers to repay loans to enable the bank to be depositor friendly.
About 80 entrepreneurs attended the loan mela. Bank officials Nagesvara Rao, Nair, Prasad DM, Rahul, Chiranjeevi, AV Kumar, Amar and others participated in the loan mela.
