Update attendance of PG medical students, HoDs told
Health Minister Eatala Rajender has asked HoDs to send attendance of PG doctors by 25th of every month for quick disposal of their stipend amounts.
Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender has asked HoDs to send attendance of PG doctors by 25th of every month for quick disposal of their stipend amounts.
His instructions assume significance in wake of a fresh row in Niloufer hospital, where a section of the doctors alleged that attendance of PG students was not sent from January onwards leading to delay in the release of stipends.
Eatala visited Osmania Medical College as part of his "Face-to-Face" interaction with doctors, students and medical staff working in colleges and teaching hospitals.
On Monday, he visited Gandhi Hospital and followed it up with a visit to the very old Osmania Medical College in Koti on Tuesday.
The minister assured doctors, who assembled in the auditorium that the Telangana government was committed to provide the best healthcare to its citizens and will do whatever needed to make it happen.
Eatala called upon the doctors to work with commitment and dedication and bring good name to the institution and the government.
He assured that doctors and nurses' number would be increased as per patients rush.
