Suryapet/Nalgonda: Minister for Education G Jagadish Reddy mocked at Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy stating that under his leadership the Congress would sink in the State soon.

On Wednesday, along with party Nalgonda MP candidate Vemireddy Narsimha Reddy, he participated in party workers' meeting held at Suryapet and Kodad of Suryapet district and Nidmanoor of Nalgonda district.

Addressing the gatherings, he said leaders and cadre from various parties are joining in TRS voluntarily after witnessing the rapid progress of the State under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He dared TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy to resign from his MLA post and contest in MP elections.

"The whole nation is looking towards Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who has been implementing innovative welfare schemes and development activities for the welfare of people and progress of the State," said Jagadish.

Telangana is going to be a role model in providing drinking and irrigation waters through Mission Baghiratha, Mission Kakatiya and irrigation projects.

"Stating that losing confidence on Uttam Kumar Reddy's leadership, Congress leaders one by one are shifting their loyalties to TRS," the Minister said, adding that only Uttam and his wife Padamavathi would remain in the party in the coming up days.

Stating that party Nalgonda MP candidate V Narasimha Reddy was an able leader, he urged the people of Nalgonda MP territorial to support the TRS in the upcoming Parliament elections in the interest of State and help the party get more funds from the Central government for the development of the State.

He urged the leaders and cadres of the party to strive to make CM KCR's election campaign meeting to be held in Miryalaguda on March 29, a grand success .

Speaking on the occasion, Narasimha Reddy said he might be a newcomer to full-time electoral politics, but he was determined to serve the people.

Meanwhile, in a major jolt to Congress party in Nagarjunasagar constituency, Nidmanoor Congress leader Hanumanthrao along with hundreds of his supporters joined the TRS in the presence of Minister Jagadish Reddy in a program held at Shakapuram of Nidamanoor mandal in Nalgonda district.

Kodad MLA Bollam Mallaiah Yadav, Nagarjuanasagar MLA Nomula Narsimhaiah, party local leaders and workers attended the meetings.
