Hyderabad: Congress senior leader V Hanumanth Rao on Tuesday came down heavily on the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) in the Chief Minister's Office for writing a derogatory article about the newly-appointed Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

He said the article was derogatory in nature and insulting the woman Governor of the State.

He wondered whether the article was written with complete knowledge of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the CPRO has any power to write such articles.

He asked the CM as to how his government would insult the woman Governor when she was heaping praises on the State Government.

He demanded the CM to immediately sack the CPRO from his post. He also warned that he would meet the Governor and lodge a complaint against the CPRO on the issue.

The article written by the CPRO was also insulting the BCs, he added.
