A teacher from Hyderabad has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting 11 minor girls who used to attend tuition in Wanaparthy. All the victims were of the fourth standard.
The incident came to light after two of the girls complained of bleeding to her parents. According to the police, the accused (26), a private teacher sexually assaulted the students multiple times at the school premises.
Based on the complaint filed by parents of two victims, the police registered cases under section 376 (rape) and under various sections of the POCSO Act and arrested the accused.
The accused have been sent to questioning.
