Gajwel: The state government and Chief Minister KCR always stand by the parents by extending financial assistance for marriage of their daughters, said Finance Minister T Harish Rao.

He gave away 717 cheques of Kalyanalakshmi and Shadi Mubarak for Rs 7,09,38,476 to the beneficiaries here on Monday. ZP Chairperson V Roja Radhakrishna Sharma, special officer of GADA Muthyam Reddy, RDO Vijayender Reddy, chairmen of corporations, and peoples' representatives were present.
