Will fight until SC categorisation is done: MRPS

Karimnagar: Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) working president Ragadi Satyam demanded that the government must take initiation for categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SCs). A meeting was held with MRPS representatives of Karimnagar and Peddapalli districts at Press Bhavan in Karimnagar on Friday.
Speaking at n the meeting, R Satyam said under the leadership of Manda Krishan Madiga, national president, the MRPS is fighting for SC categorisation for the past 25 years and will continue the fight until it is achieved.
All the previous governments deceived the people of SC community by promising them of categorisation. By strengthening all other affiliated organisations, the MRPS will exert pressure on both the Central and State governments for SC categorisation.
Satyam demanded both the governments to take initiation and fulfil the promise made to the people. Otherwise they will intensify the movement and would teach a fitting lesson to both the governments in the coming days, he warned
MRPS leaders R Ramachandram, K Ganga Raju, M Srinivas, G Ramanna, G Rajeshwari, K Laxman, G Komurakka, Shankar Babu, Paul, Sammaiah and Odemma were present along with others.
