T Meghana from Andhra Loyola College (ALC) represented Andhra Pradesh and secured third place in the national-level competition on experimental skill test ‘Anveshika’ which was held at IIT Kanpur from September 13 to 15.

Vijayawada: T Meghana from Andhra Loyola College (ALC) represented Andhra Pradesh and secured third place in the national-level competition on experimental skill test 'Anveshika' which was held at IIT Kanpur from September 13 to 15.

The competition was organised by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), under the leadership of Prof HC Varma of IIT, Kanpur. About 70 students from across the country participated and Meghana stood at third position in both the Degree and PG category. The first two positions were bagged by students from Hyderabad and Punjab.

ALC principal Rev Fr Victor Emmanuel, vice-principal Rev Fr Melchior, HoD Dr G Sahaya Baskaran and the faculty of the college conveyed their greetings to Meghana on securing third place in the competition.
