Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy stated that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy took steps for establishing Rythu Bharosa Centres (RBCs) in the state for the welfare of farmers and to protect their interests. The RBCs will make agriculture a profitable sector. The one-year YSRCP government brought remarkable development in the state, he said.

Inaugurating Rythu Bharosa Centre at Velkur Village in GD Nellore Mandal on Saturday , the Dy.CM explained the aim of the government in establishing the Rythu Bharosa Kendrams in a big way. Quality seeds, pesticides and fertilisers will be supplied to farmers through RBCs, he said. Disbursement of Input subsidy to the tune of Rs.67,500 will be made to each farmer in instalments . Allied departments of agriculture would also be strengthened to ensure Remunerative Price for agriculture produce, he said.

He further said that 941 Rythu Bharosa Centres would be set up in Chittoor district. He reiterated that Chief Minister has fulfilled 90 percent of promises mentioned in YSRCP manifesto. District Collector N B Gupta, Joint Collector K Markendeyulu, JD Agriculture Vijayakumar, JD Horticulture Aruna Kumari and others were present . The Dy CM visited the exhibition stalls relating to various departments.
