Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy stated that 17 lakh houses will be constructed in the state within four months and instructions were given to the constructing agencies to achieve the set target
Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy stated that 17 lakh houses will be constructed in the state within four months and instructions were given to the constructing agencies to achieve the set target.
He added said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was aimed to provide a permanent house for all the poor.
Participating at a house site pattas distribution programme held at Basiredipalli village, GD Nellore mandal on Saturday, he said 2.6 lakh houses would come up in Chittoor district within four months.
He said the house site distribution task would be completed shortly. "After completing the distribution of 17,450 house site pattas in 140 layouts at GD Nellore mandal, construction of 3,000 houses will be commenced shortly. Construction of the houses should be completed within four months," he declared.
He further said that instructions were given to ZP CEO to take immediate steps for completing the construction of Rythu Bharosa Kendras and Wellness centres on or before March 31.
He complimented the District Collector Dr N Bharat Gupta for completing the Covid dry run vaccination programme in the district. YCP leaders Vijayananda Reddy, Bala Subramanya Reddy, Prasada Reddy, Guruva Reddy, MRO Neelamaiah, MPDO Parvathamma and others were present.
