Cyber Mitra clubs in all schools: DGP D Gautam Sawang
Assuring the students that the police would always provide them protection, DGP D Gautam Sawang said the police department would launch Cyber Mitra and Mahila Mitra clubs in all schools and colleges in the state.

Sawang participated in a programme organised to launch app 'Be Safe' by Vijayawada police in a private function hall on Tuesday. Home minister Mekathoti Sucharita released the app along with the minister for women and child welfare Taneti Vanitha, DGP Sawang, Vijayawada commissioner of police Dwarak Tirumala Rao, AP Women's Commission chairperson Vasireddy Padma and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP told the students to dial 100, 112 and 181 numbers for emergency help. He asked the girl students to inform their friends, neighbours and well-wishers about the new app 'Be Safe' launched on Tuesday.
