Government will provide infrastructure needed in schools: Collector
Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara participated in the Rajanna Badibata programme at Government Municipal School on 2nd Line in Ram Nagar in Ongole on Thursday.
Ongole: Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara participated in the Rajanna Badibata programme at Government Municipal School on 2nd Line in Ram Nagar in Ongole on Thursday.Speaking in the programme, the Collector said that the children in the district should be in the schools and they should not be outside in any other works.
He announced that the required infrastructure for the children will be provided in the government schools. He said that toilets and drinking water facility are already provided in the schools and they are providing uniforms, shoes and books soon to them.
The Collector participated in the plantation programme in the school. He said that everyone should plant saplings in the government schools in the district to protect environment.Ongole municipal corporation Commissioner K Sakunthala, district education officer VS Subbarao, Sarva Shikha Abhiyan project officer Venkateswara Rao and others also participated in the programme.
