Guntur: Collector Samuel Anand Kumar inspects land for house sites

Guntur: District Collector Samuel Anand Kumar on Thursday visited Chowdavaram village in Guntur rural mandal to acquire land for the distribution of house sites to the poor.

He inspected land along with the officials. He verified land records along with the officials. He instructed them to identify farmers who will come forward to give lands for acquisition to distribute house sites to the poor. He further said that it is responsibility of the officials to distribute pattas to all eligible who applied for house sites.

He recalled that so far 15,000 applicants applied for house sites in the Guntur Municipal Corporation limits. He directed the officials to identify the lands suitable for the construction of the houses near Guntur city for house sites distribution. He instructed the officials to develop the lands as house sites and prepare layouts for the house sites. He asked them to speed up the process for land acquisition. Bhaskara Reddy, Guntur urban tahsildar Mohan Rao were among those participated.
