Home minister Sucharita launches Early Warning Dissemination System, which aims to identify natural disasters
Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has said that the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh is a boon for the economic growth and development if the state.
Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has said that the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh is a boon for the economic growth and development if the state. The Minister who launched the Early Warning Dissemination System at the Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Office on Wednesday has said the state government is setting up various new systems for the welfare of the people.
The Home Minister who is happy to launch the scheme asserted that the early warning system was brought in to force to identify the natural disaster threat well in advance.
"In the event of any disaster, early warning will ensure that there is no loss to people's property and lives, " HM said. She also said that Andhra Pradesh state stands second place in protecting against the disasters.
"These early warnings are very useful in reducing the severity of natural disasters and losses, such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tsunami, and heavy fires," she said.
