Make Kadapa as accident-free: SP Siddharth

Kadapa: District Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal has conducted massive counselling session to minors and their parents at police parade grounds here on Tuesday. He suggested parents, who provide bikes to their minor children, must change their mindset. Stating that Kadapa should be made as accident-free district, he pointed out that accidents are taking place due to underage driving, drunk driving, neglecting traffic rules, triple riding and others.

The SP said that police have seized 1,004 bikes from minors. He alleged that parents are sole responsible for most of the accidents as they allow their minor children to drive vehicles. He warned that the minors will be penalised if they are caught driving vehicles again in future.

It is obvious to recall that that SP Siddharth himself seized 290 bikes from the offenders. He handed over all the seized vehicles to the owners sparing them as the first and final accuse. He declared that the numbers of the seized vehicles are kept in police records.
