Muralidhar Reddy assumes charge as new Collector
D Muralidhar Reddy assumed charge as new Collector for East Godavari on Friday.
Kakinada: D Muralidhar Reddy assumed charge as new Collector for East Godavari on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the new Collector said that East Godavari district possess rich culture and heritage and he is happy to be chief district administrator.
The Collector also said that development of the district will be taken up with active public participation and support. Priority would be given to Navaratnalu scheme of the state government which covers welfare of all sections of the people, he said.
Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna, Joint Collector 2 Ch Sathibabu, DRO MV Govindarajulu and district heads of various departments greeted Muralidhar Reddy. The 2006 batch IAS officer served as Commissioner and Director of AP Agriculture department prior to his new appointment.
