Amaravati: The TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son party general secretary N Lokesh missed their family tradition due to elections campaign on Thursday.

Both of them could not attend the birthday celebrations of Devaansh, grandson of Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday. In fact, Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh have a tradition to take blessings of their family deity Lord Srivenkateswara of holy adobe Tirumala Tirupati, on this occasion. They donate lakhs of rupees to the TTD for Annadana programme being organized by the temple.

Pathetically missing the occasion, both Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh just tweeted their wishes to Devaansh on Twitter and remained in their work in the entire day.

Chandrababu Naidu said that, "Lots of blessings and love to the apple of my eye Devaansh, on his birthday. Four years ago we were blessed with our bundle of joy and watching him grow by leaps and bounds fills my heart with delight."

Lokesh said that, "@naradevaansh celebrated his birthday at Tirumala, the holy abode of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Had to miss the annual tradition of sponsoring Anna Daanam on this day to participate in the election campaign at Mangalagiri."

On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu's wife Bhuvaneswari and Lokesh's wife Brahmani took the blessings of Srivenkateswara along with the kid and donated Rs 30 lakh on his name.
