A newly married couple were committed suicide by consuming pesticides after elders ignored their love marriage.
Kadapa: A newly married couple were committed suicide by consuming pesticides after elders ignored their love marriage. The couple were identified as K Srinivasulu (23), K Bhargavi (20) of Mandi Bazar area in kadapa city. In this tragic incident Bhargavi while undergoing treatment in Jammalamadugu area hospital, her husband Srinivasulu shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi Medical sciences (RIMS) in Kadapa where his condition stated to be critical.
According to the sources the duo got inter-caste marriage at MahaNandi temple in Kurnool district 3 days ago.
They came back to Kadapa on Wednesday as both family members scolded the couple forced them to take such extreme step.
In this connection, they reached Gandikota in the afternoon and spent some time around 6:30 PM they consumed pesticides. Some passers noticed duo lying on the ground immediately alerted the police. A case has been registered by Jammalamadugu police.
