Vijayawada: Former Australian pacer Glen McGrath expressed his happiness to be a part of bowling training camp organised by MRF Pace Foundation at Andhra Cricket Association, International Cricket Stadium at Mangalagiri.

Addressing the media on Friday, McGrath said cricket was the national game of Australia and as a bowler, he faced many challenges in his career. He said that there was lot of difference in the mental stress while playing T20 and a one-day international game. He said there was no such difference when he played his first cricket match in 1997 and the last match in 2007 as the stress levels were the same.

The present generation of cricketers should make the best use of these coaching camps to excel in the game. He said fast bowlers should always be cool even when they were bowling their first over or the last over of the match, and should not bowl a full toss in the last over of the match.

Fitness plays a key role for fast bowlers and they should bowl according to the situation of the game with concentration. He further said that in India there are good talented cricketers.
