Tirupati: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) has awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Human Development and Family studies (Home Science) to A Shobha Rani.

She has submitted her thesis on "Coronary risk among women (21-40 years); Reduction by improved adherence to modified diet and lifestyle," under the guidance of Prof D Sarada, Department of Home Science.
