Police conduct cordon & search, seize vehicles in Ongole
The Ongole police conducted a cordon and search operations in the town and seized motorcycles, auto-rickshaws and other vehicles along with a dump of gas cylinders, in the early morning on Sunday.

About 200 policemen headed by Ongole DSP KVVNV Prasad, Town Circle Inspector of Police Bheema Naik, Town-II Circle Inspector of Police Rajesh, Rural Circle Inspector Subba Rao, Taluk CI Lakshman and staff from their respective police stations, reached the Puli Venkata Reddy Colony, Indira Colony, Rajiv Gruhakalpa in the early morning and cordoned the area.
The searches continued till early noon and the police personnel seized 35 motorbikes, 6 auto-rickshaws, 2 sand tractors and trailers and 14 unlicensed gas cylinders dumped in a private house. The police booked various cases and continuing the investigation as per the procedure.
