Prakasam police arrest 109 people in various raids
The Prakasam police arrested a total of 109 people for their involvement in anti-social activities.
Ongole: The Prakasam police arrested a total of 109 people for their involvement in anti-social activities. As per the orders of SP Siddharth Kaushal, the police from Chimakurthy, SN Padu, Maddipadu and NG Padu in Ongole subdivision conducted raids at seven places and arrested 34 people.
The police from Lingasamudram, Kandukur town and Kandukur rural subdivision arrested 22 persons in two raids while the Mundlamur police from Darsi arrested 5 people in a raid. The Markapuram sub-divisional police from Markapur town and rural, Peddaraveedu, Giddalur, Racherla, Komarole, BV Pet and Y Palem conducted 13 raids and arrested 48 people in them. The report said the police recovered a total of Rs 3,54,881, 17 mobile phones, gutka packets worth Rs 6,000, eight motorbikes and 57 liquor quarter bottles.
