Dokiparru (Krishna district): Pushpa Yagam was conducted at Sri Bhusameta Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple here on Monday.
The Yagam was conducted under the supervision of the founder trustees Puritipati Venkata Krishna Reddy and Sudha.
P Sudha, P Rama, P Sumalatha, P Prasanna, P Veera Reddy, Vijayalakshmi, Kommareddy Bapi Reddy and Vijayabhaskaramma also participated in the Yagam.
A large number of people from Dokiparru and the neighbouring villages participated in the massive function.
The Pushpa Yagam was being conducted every year here which would bring good luck to the people.
A number of flowers were used in the Yagam. Generally, a Pushpa yagam, performing a special ritual with flowers is performed to protect the Earth from natural calamities, save humanity, flora and fauna.
