Sand available to meet local needs, says Joint Collector M Venugopal Reddy

Eluru: Joint Collector M Venugopal Reddy has said sufficient quantity of sand was available to meet local requirement.
He inspected lower order streams at Vijayarayi and Nadimpalli villages of Pedavegi mandal in West Godavari district on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that those in need of sand can get the same by paying relevant fee.
Out of total 29 lower order streams, sand was extracted from 25 streams. This sand would account for 1000 units of sand. People should make note of this fact and avail the supply of sand for local needs, he added.
