Tirumala: The unidentified persons broke out for serial thefts in Tirumala cottage at midnight. The devotees who came to the holy hills for the darshan of the Lord have taken rooms 375A, 373A, and 365A in SNC area.
On noticing that the devotees have gone for the darshan, the thieves have break opened the locks and taken away mobile phones, clothes, Rs 4,000 cash, and a camera worth Rs 20,000.
The devotees who returned the cottage in the morning were shocked to see that the locks open.
The victims separately registered the complaint with the Crime police. On receiving the information, the police booked a case and investigating further.
