Siddhartha College gets NAAC A+ grade
PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science principal Dr Meka Ramesh said that the college received National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A+ grade.
Vijayawada: PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science principal Dr Meka Ramesh said that the college received National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A+ grade. In a release on Saturday, he said that NAAC team has given a score of 3.32 and issued A + grade to the college.
He said that on August 5 and 6 the NAAC team visited the college conducted inspection and submitted their report to the central office after assessing all facilities, academic standards, test results, student talents in non-teaching subjects and employment opportunities of the college which fetched A+ grade from NAAC.
College director Vemuri Baburao said that the NAAC team visited the college twice in 2004 and 2012 and the team had awarded A+ grade as the performance in all fields was better than earlier in 2019. He congratulated the college faculty and staff for their efforts.
NAAC committee coordinator Dr Babu Rajendra Prasad, Dean Rajesh Jampala and placement officer Sridhar Kavuri were present. Siddhartha Academy, president Nalluri Venkateswarlu, secretary Paladhu Lakshman Rao, the college convener S Venkateswara Rao and Academy members congratulated the college staff on the occasion.
