Students receive academic excellence awards from parents
It was a day of joy and honour for students to receive their awards for academic excellence at the hands of their parents who came as guests to view the grand spectacle of recognitions to their wards who were academic achievers.
Gooty (Anantapur): It was a day of joy and honour for students to receive their awards for academic excellence at the hands of their parents who came as guests to view the grand spectacle of recognitions to their wards who were academic achievers. For the students, it was a touching ceremony to be honoured by their parents on behalf of the management of GATES Institute of Technology, which launched Gates Honor Society to appreciate top ranking students from II, III B. Tech and Management studies.
As part of the programme, students were inducted into Gates Honor Society and were made to receive awards at the hands of their parents. The event was graced by correspondent V K Padmavathamma, Managing Director Gajjala Raghunatha Reddy, Principal Dr Bhaskar Patel, HODs, parents and students. Speaking on the occasion, Raghunath Reddy said that this is a novel idea to touch the hearts of parents and students who were overwhelmed to see their wards perform well in their studies.
Parents were impressed at the way the management of Gates is moulding their wards and instilling confidence in them. They expressed that GATES is known for its academic excellence and this programme helps students to realise their potential so that they can aim high. The mothers of students described the rare honour as a Mothers' Day gift to them.
