Tirupati: TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, along with TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal launched publicity campaign for the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala and released the posters for the 9-day religious festival, here on Friday.
On the occasion, the Chairman said, elaborate arrangements are underway for the Navahnika Brahmotsavams which will be conducted from September 30 till October 8 in Tirumala. Every year the annual Brahmotsavams are held in a big way with religious fervour and grandeur.
"We will be inviting the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on September 21 at his office in Vijayawada. The CM will present silk vastrams to Sri Venkateswara Swamy on behalf of the state government, on the first day of Brahmotsavam on September 30,'' he said. Special Officer of Tirumala AV Dharma Reddy, JEO P Basant Kumar and CVSO Gopinath Jatti were also present.
