Though the orders have been in force for a long time, majority managements of hotels, guest houses, owners of houses, apartments and others, who have been providing accommodation for foreigners were not entering the details on www.boi.gov.in within 24 hours of the visit of the foreigner as per the provisions of Sec 16 (7) of the Foreigners (Amendment) Orders, 2016.
Any person violates this fundamental rule will be liable for punishment under section 14 (C) of the Foreigners Act, 1946. Further, foreigners, who are on Visiting Visa would be restricted to the places mentioned. They should not involve in any religious speeches or related activities or not undergo any type of employment and business.
