Visakhapatnam: The otherwise grand celebration of ISKCON's rath yatra goes online in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
But the devout can view the rath yatra either by logging on to ISKCON's FaceBook page: iskconvizag of Zoom login id: 76684743300 and password: 933039. Special darshan can be registered in three slots – 4 pm to 4:30 pm or 4:30 pm to 5 pm or 5 pm to 5:30 pm through Zoom App.
Cultural coordinator of ISKCON Mataji Nithaisevini appealed to people to watch the rath yatra within the comfort of their homes wherein the live streaming of the yatra is scheduled on June 23 from 4 pm.
Meanwhile, Sri Jagannadha Swamy temple in Old Town Area suspended the rath yatra for the first time in the wake of the pandemic.
