Mylavaram: The two-day workshop on 'Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality' conducted jointly by the ITC and IIT, Mumbai, at the Information Technology department of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, here concluded on Saturday.

Sandnyit Pathare and Shubbam Raut were the resource persons for the workshop.

Principal Dr K Appa Rao complimented the students of information technology department for actively participating in the workshop.

Dr R Chandrasekharam, dean, School of Computing, informed the students about the importance of virtual reality and augmented reality and the opportunities for students in the field.

Dr D Nagaraju, head of Information Technology, said that the students could learn the important issues which were not in the syllabus, in the workshops held in the college.

He appealed to students to avail such opportunities and hone their skills. Over 95 students participated in the workshop and ten of them were selected for participating in the next round of competitions to be held in Mumbai.

S Nagamani was the coordinator of the programme.
