Hyderabad: Anthill Ventures, an investment and scaling platform for early growth stage startups, on Monday announced the launch of Urban-i, a market access programme for consumer brand startups in India.

The platform will bring together capital, consumer brands and celebrities, focused on accelerating the startups business growth.

Anthill said, the six-month programme will provide consumer brand startups with the right support and mentorship.

A cohort of five-nine startups working in the areas of personal care, fashion and accessories, food and beverages, health and nutrition, consumer tech, and e-commerce, will be shortlisted. The process of sending applications will close on December 23, 2019.

Prasad Vanga, CEO, Anthill Ventures, said, "We are excited to launch Urban-i in partnership with our well-known Indian actor, Rana Daggubati. The startups will receive access to Anthill's global channels."

The programme for the first batch of chosen startups will commence from February 2020.
