Actor Emraan Hashmi is all geared up with his maiden digital show Bard of Blood, says thank you, Shahrukh Khan, for leading the way.

The digital show is a joint collaboration of Shahrukh Khan helmed Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix, the first season shooting is complete and it will soon showcase on Netflix.

Emraan Hashmi just took to his social media profile and shared candid stills from the wrap-up and shared a heartfelt note. He wrote, "Started off as a kickass espionage thriller book written by @BilalS158. & now delivering 7 piping episodes on @netflix very soon. The Netflix show Bard of Blood is an adaptation of author Bilal Siddiqi's The Bard Of Blood. The series is directed by Ribhu Das Gupta, the shoot of the series wrapped up a few days back in Mandawa, Rajasthan.

Set against the backdrop of the Indian subcontinent, the multilingual series will tell the story of an expelled spy Kabir Anand, who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and long lost love.

Apart from Emraan Hashmi, URI actress Kirti Kulhari is also part of the series.
