On talking about her role, "Farzana is a young woman living in slums and taking care of her father. The sole bread-earner lands into prostitution due to certain circumstances. Every character plays a mysterious role and mystery unfolds with every episode. Farzana plays an enigmatic character with a lot going on within her. She is also straight forward, fearless and stands for justice. Vulnerable, with a big heart, she is a great spy who helps to find the one who fights against evil."
On sharing about the series, " It is set in the backdrop of Kolkata, It is full of thrill and mystery that will make you seat at the edge of your seat. I'm really happy with the overall response. Now, I feel it is the right time it was released as most of us could watch it due to Covid Pandemic. Ajay Devgan joining and also lending his voice to the trailer of the show has just given the series a somewhat larger than life image and has definitely been an icing on the cake. I am really happy and grateful for it."
' Lal Bazaar' is her first web series in Bengali. She says, "I got a call from production house and the script was narrated to me and I loved it and found my character and story very interesting. It was shot in Kplkata. It was an awesome experience, working with full enthusiasm. "
She says one should not compare any platform. "Actually as an actor I feel that no genre of medium should be a limit. I'm comfortable with any platform whether films or OTT. I don't want to put any limitations as an actor."
About her experience with Jaideep Ahlawat and Rajkummar Rao she says, "They are my seniors from FTII so I have very different equation with them. I feel extremely proud to see the kind of work they are doing. I got lots of hope for myself by looking at them. They are really carving out a path for all the new comers who don't come from filmy background. They are setting examples and giving hope to so many. They are setting such a different path. Both are equally talented. It feels amazing to see Jaideep doing 'Patal Lok' and Rajkummar doing different kind of film. They bring a lot of hope in me."
She talks about her plans and says, "Right now I was suppose to shoot for a show which was to start in June but didn't happened and can't reveal much about it. It depends on lockdown. Rest I am looking at scripts right now and nothing is confirmed as of now. I am just looking for very interesting content. I hope something exciting will definitely come up soon."
