Suri To Direct Ambarish's Son Abhishek?
Kannada Rebel Star Ambarish introduced his son Abhishek to movies when he was very much alive.
Kannada Rebel Star Ambarish introduced his son Abhishek to movies when he was very much alive. He was even present during the launch of Abhishek's debut movie Amar. Unfortunately, Ambarish died before he could watch his son's debut movie on the big screen. Amar did not fare well at the box office so the movie was not a career break as such for the debutante. The movie failed despite the presence of established actors like Sandalwood Challenging star Darshan, Rachita Ram, and senior Kannada actor Devaraj. Amar stayed away from the movie scene after his father's demise. However, it appears, groundwork was being laid for his next movie.
So, who is directing Abhishek's next movie? Reports suggest that Duniya Suri will be directing Abhishek's next movie.
It is learned that Suri has already approached the actor and the first round of talks are already done. Suri also is said to have narrated the script to Abhi and is now busy giving finishing touches to the story. If all goes well and things fall in place, the Abhishek-Suri movie will go on floors soon after the lockdown ends.
Suri is one of the directors who's on every actor's wish list in Sandalwood. The Kannada director has worked with debutantes to even big stars. Shivrajkumar's Kaddipudi and Tagaru, Puneeth Rajkumar's Jackie, Doddamane Huduga and Anna Bond and of course Duniya with debutante Vijay were directed by Suri. THe movie gave the aspiring actor a huge break in his career. The Sandalwood director also changed the careers of actors Vicky Varun and Maanvitha Kamat in Kendasampige. Now, Suri is all set to do the same with Abhishek.
Fans of actor Rebel Star Ambarish and his son are thrilled with this news and hope the Suri magic can help give Abhi's career the much needed break.
After Popcorn Monkey, Suri had announced that his next movie will be Kaage Bandara. It remains to be seen if Abhi will be seen in that particular movie.
Stay tuned for updates.
