Baahubali producers' next film directly on OTT platform?
After Baahubali, the producers of the movie took up a small budgeted flick.
After Baahubali, the producers of the movie took up a small budgeted flick. Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of ARKA Media works teamed up with director Venkatesh Maha for his film Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. Praveena Paruchuri is also the producer of the film. It is the remake of the Malayalam film Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya. Satya Dev plays the lead role in the movie.
The film unit was supposed to release the movie on April 14th but due to lockdown, they also decided to release the movie on an OTT platform. Reports say that the makers felt that the theatres might not open anytime soon and it is tough to pull the crowds to the theatres. Already, a major streaming platform got in touch with them for the film's streaming rights.
The movie will release at the end of June or the first week of July. The release date will be announced soon.
