Director Harish Shankar is coming with a new film called Valmiki, after being off the work for more than two years.
Director Harish Shankar is coming with a new film called Valmiki, after being off the work for more than two years. This is an official remake of 2014 Tamil hit Jigarthanda. Varun tej will be seen as the lead hero in this movie. The shooting of this film was started about a month ago.
But, it has been facing a few issues right from the start. A few days back, it was reported that Pooja Hegde, who was supposed to act in the film, has walked out due to remuneration issues. Now, we hear that music director Devi Sri Prasad has also exited the project.
Apparently, the creative differences between Harish and Devi led to the exit of the latter. Now, he is being replaced by Mickey J Meyer. Both Harish and Mickey worked together earlier for the film Subrahmanyam for Sale. Now, they are back together again after a half-decade, for Valmiki.
