Bankrolled under the banners of RK Media Works and Mahayana Motion Pictures, the film, a remake of the Malayalam film 'Maheshinte Prateekaram,' is being helmed by Venkatesh Maha of 'C/0 Kanchepalem' fame and has Satya Dev as the male protagonist.

The teaser of the film was released in Hyderabad on Friday. The post-production works were going on at a brisk pace.

Speaking to the media, the film producers heaped praises on director Venkatesh Maha, who depicted the film on the celluloid excellently, bringing the native Telugu flavour for the Malayalam remake.

The teaser of the film evoked tremendous response, they added. The film is made in the backdrop of a rural setting.

Shubhu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad said that the 'Maheshwara Ugraroopasya' would hit the screens on April 17 after completing all the formalities.

V K Naresh is playing a important role. While Appu Prabhakar has cranked the camera, Bigibal gave the background score.
