The students of KITS created hlstory by winning the second prize In Chhatra Viswakarma Awards—2019.
Vinjanampadu: The students of KITS created hlstory by winning the second prize In Chhatra Viswakarma Awards—2019. PSravani, L Sasi Rekha, N Pooja Sri and P Dharani, the students from ECE Department achieved this prestigious milestone.
The project developed by these girls won great applause from the jury members. It is a robot meant for substituting the work of farmers attending the risky tasks. It can help them to avoid threat to their lives.
With a view to promote the innovative skills among its engineering students, AICTE, in association with MHRD invited projects from the students. The selection was done in three stages and the final phase was held at AICTE.
The projects developed by the students of KITS got place in the finals. The jury examined the project and selected the project of KITS as the second best one.
They felt that the Robot created by the students would really come to the rescue of farmers while attending the risky jobs. Ramesh Pokriyal, Union Minister of Human Resources Development gave the prize to the winners.
K.Subba Rao, Chairman, KITS congratulated the students and their mentor Dr.Sk.Kamruddin for achieving this great honour to the institute. He wished the students to continue with their innovations further and assured them of his utmost cooperation.
