Delta variant reported

Gantyada (Vizianagaram): The district medical and health officials have announced that delta variant case is registered first time in the district. As per the information a woman aged 23 years of Pensaam village in Gantyada mandal is tested positive with Delta variant. Dr.SV Ramana Kumari, the DMHO said that the woman is tested positive on 17 may and later they sent the samples to CCBM and got the final report as Delta variant. The condition of the patient is stable and nothing to worry. The DMHO asserted that the case is Delta variant but not the Delta plus. She said that the patients who are infected in first wave of Covid (2020) and in second wave(2021) also may have chances to get the report as delta variant and it's not much serious and easily the patient would over come the infection.

Andhra Pradesh: Eight youth drowned to death and five goes missing in four incidents
