A welcome move
This has reference to the column weight of school bags published in The Hans India of today.
This has reference to the column weight of school bags published in The Hans India of today. Once our schools implement the following points the weight of school bag will be reduced considerably.
The pages of text books and note books should be reduced to say 50 pages. Science note book can be continued in note book 2,3 etc. Same way other subject note books too can be continued.
Text book can be published chapter wise or topic wise. Say Light , Sound , Magnetism etc with less pages.
Time table should be modified - Algebra, Graph, English grammar, Light , instead of Mathematics, English , Science etc. By following the above simple points the school bag will be lighter than the one any one can imagine.
I had taken up School Bag project decades ago. I am glad , HRD ministry has issued instructions to schools for the benefit of students at least now.
